Foot Levelers Blue Ridge Half Marathon
Sat April 22~~7:35 AM
Hosted by Blue Ridge Marathon
The Foot Levelers Blue Ridge Marathon and Half Marathon have earned their titles as “America’s Toughest Road Race” by challenging runners with over 7,430 ft. in elevation change for the full and 3,800 ft. for the half, more than any other road race in the U.S. It is also known for running along the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, who is the race's main benefactor.
The full, half and 10k all prove equally challenging yet rewarding on this mountainous course, and all runners are rewarded with free socks, unique finishers’ medals, shirts and local craft beer at the festival-like finish in downtown Roanoke.
